Camp over now time to sleep...

Kids left today after one of the better camps I've done, kids were good, teachers were great, we had tons of support staff and a coordinator that could actually coordinate and not have to lead a group at the same time.  We played a bunch of music in Mui Wo last night.

I haven't been posting much through Posterous lately, i've pretty much been just going direct from twitter or blogger for updates, I still like Posterous, but i think i'll mostly use it for travel updates and updates from my iphone.

  1. Hi there Adam- Glad you had a good week. Get some good sleep. So happy you are having fun with the music. Papa and I went to the fiddle meet last night- we had a great time with all the ole-timers. Earl S. was there playing and doing well despite his condition. He is a very strong man for sure. I guess the fiddle meets will continue each week still and he hopes to be back maybe for one in May but has to see how things go first with his treatments. Oh yeah, Papa C. and I were talking about the new store that is being built next to the old 7-11 and I don't think I ever mentioned it to you. It's due to open June 5 I believe. It is coming along nicely and kind of resembles the store in Redford, Adirondack style you could say. The 7-11 owner here is having it built and he might be selling the other building, not sure on that part. Another bit of info. Pepe had 10 teeth pulled last week, was doing ok, but then started with a fever and now has pneumonia so he is not feeling that well right now. It's been one sickness after another around here it seems. Hope all is well with you and Katy and family. Thinking of you every day and love ya- Mom

  2. Hi Adam- At work right now. I have been trying to catch you up on some of the happenings in the North Country. Although the more things change the more they stay the same, as the saying goes. Today the temps. are near 60. It was so great taking the dogs out for a walk (Zoe,Ollie). Dad has been busy cutting the rest of the tree in the back yard. Still a little remains, holding the suet for the hummingbirds. He has also been cleaning up the yard a little in front, repairing some of the snow plow peeling...He is also installing a new single wall oven in the kitchen. He took out the old ones, the top one wasn't working and the bottom one was always 50 degrees off. This new one is black and awesome. He is also going to put in a shelf to put the microwave over it. It should be quite nice when he is done. We would like to get a new fridge too but maybe next year. Guess I rambled on long enough. As always, love you and we all miss you! Say hi to Katy for us. Love- Mom
