Katy came over after work for dinner, the menu was:

Appetizer:
Green Salad with Caesar or Olive Oil and Balsamic Dressing
Chicken Satay -----For me since the peanut sauce had shrimp paste in it...
Chilled Pesto Chicken ---For Katy
Papadum

Main Course:
Garlic Mashed Potatoes
Chicken and Pea Risotto

Dessert:
None, but we couldn't have eaten it anyway, we were too stuffed.

Some thunder boomers rolling through this morning, a very rare occurrence in Hong Kong, there's heavy rains often but not much thunder and lightning.  You'd think they go hand in hand, but that's not the case.  So many more thunderstorms in New York, Plattsburgh gets about 34" of rain per year, while depending on where you are in Hong Kong you can get anywhere from 50" to 118".  Although it seems that on Lantau where I live we don't get that much rain at all, but I have heard that Hong Kong is in a drought and in the year that I've been here there was much less rain than usual.  I wasn't here at this time last year so I don't know what the weather was like.
